Nick Lambert started out his working life at IBM before taking on senior marketing and management positions with a diverse range of companies. In late 2011, Nick started working for MaidSafe, a Scottish technology company focussed on distributed storage, and it was at MaidSafe that he learned about decentralisation, the importance of data privacy and something called Bitcoin. Nick was MaidSafe’s Chief Operating Officer for 8 years during which time he managed the fastest crowd fund in history (at the time) and helped grow the company into a globally recognised brand with the cryptocurrency sector. Nick is now CEO at Dock Systems Inc. A company whose vision is to remove intermediaries from the issuance and management of verifiable credentials and to restore control over personal data back to the individual.
